My Story
Hi, my name is Logan Bryan and I am 18 years old. When I was 6 months old, I had a tumor begin to form on the tip of my nose. My pediatrician told my mom and dad that it was Hemangioma. It would grow very rapidly but take years to go away and would most likely need several surgeries. I remember struggling with my appearance and the comments and jokes that were often made about how my nose looked. Since then, I have had 5 laser treatments and 3 major surgeries to help remove the tumor and reshape my nose. After several surgeries done by Dr. Jay Burns and Dr. Rod Rohrich, I can now say that I am proud of the way my nose looks. I was first asked to participate in an art exhibit in Dallas that revealed the good that can come from plastic surgery. It was that event that inspired me to help other children who deal with the same struggles that I faced as a child. In 2021, I started my own non-profit to help children born with facial abnormalities. All proceeds will go to help children who can’t afford these surgeries. Last year, I was able to present a check for $80,000 to Children’s Health of Dallas.
